Firefox themes....????? I am wondering which safari Firefox skins are the best. I prefer a safari-like interface. There are several choices. I started to think iSafari was the best one but I can't seem to find it on Firefox add-ons and the other one, Phox, is for Firefox 2.0, but i have Firefox 3.0. Any good themes for Firefox 3.0?

? replied: "In firefox 3.0 you have to search for the safari Firefox skins, you can click on Tools, go to addons, and at the top there is a little area where you can search for plugins. if it didnt find it on what you are looking for. then google it."

How do you install Firefox themes from zip files? I downloaded a few Firefox themes from Deviant Art but they're in zip files and I'm not sure where to extract them to.

untitled10101 replied: "you do not need to extract them. All you need to do is download them onto your computer...and then go to tools>themes..and from there browse for that zip file and add it..."

When using Firefox in a thumbdrive, does it also use your themes and extensions? I've read that you can put Mozilla Firefox on a USB thumbdrive and basically use it anywhere. I want to know if my Firefox theme and extensions will also be on the thumbdrive so that I can browse on other computers in just the same way I do on my own.

Chri R replied: "Yes, when you put the profile on the USB drive also and make sure on every computer it gets the right profile. use; firefox.exe -ProfileManager"

Where Can I Download Free Firefox Themes? Where can I download free firefox themes other than the add-ons section that firefox provides, they are either 99c or they are rubbish themes, I only have the mario one. Can people stop posting the addons website, i specifically said other than that because they are rubbish! I am not that naive I dont know the first place to look! Also, how do you make your own, that would be very helpful, I would also like to share mine with others in my situation!

How do i get my firefox themes to work? I cant use the themes i have downloaded, its stuck with the default theme.

Shadow replied: "It is most likely because you have the wrong browser or you need to restart, because the new version 2.0 firefox is not compatible with the old themes for the previous version of firefox, it seems as if you need to get newer themes!"

Punkrockerz replied: "First; go to tools on the menu, then click on themes or downloads: not sure. there should be your themes. click on one and click use theme on the bottom then close firefox and open it again. If your using a mac you need to go to the dock and close firefox there or the theme wont work. to do that hold on the firefox icon and a menu should come up click exit Hope this helps"

How to I get themes on Firefox when the button isn't there? I've been trying to change my theme on firefox from default and i go to Tools->Add-ons-> Themes, but all i see is that there is a "Default 3.0.6" but i cant click on the "Uninstall" button or the "Use Theme" button and there is no box in the bottom corner saying "Get Themes". Can someone please help?

Bethany replied: "Themes are considered Add-ons. You must download them in order to use them. You can do so by going to: You can then go to THEMES and look through the different themes. Once you have found one you want, click ADD TO FIREFOX. It will download and then it should be in TOOLS>ADD-ONS and you can change the theme whenever."

Safe Website to Download FireFox Themes? Does anyone know a safe website to download cool themes for FireFox besides the FireFox add-on website that gives you some?

Where are the files saved for Firefox themes? I'm interested in playing around with the icons in my theme...but I can't find where they are saved in the computer. Are they in the Mozilla Firefox folder in my Program Files, or buried somewhere else?

How exactly do i change themes on firefox? I would like to use the mario theme and i already have the newest version of firefox but i have no clue how to change my firefox to the mario theme i have downloaded the mario theme and i choose USE THEME and it says restart firefox to use the theme but it duznt work what should i do?

If you have not tried any of these tips try them and see if they work. have you completely close all firefox windows? have you double checked that you have the mario theme selected? Have you tried to restart your computer and then open firefox (do NOT just log off user; you must restart or shut down)."

How do you change themes on mozilla firefox? I have downloaded themes from mozilla firefox website and expected them to change guess i didnt do it right does any body have a clue how to chne it?
